1. Understanding the Tech

"Cookies" are small text files stored on your device. We also use Local Storage and Session Storage, which are similar technologies that allow us to store larger amounts of data in your browser.

These tools allow the Platform to "remember" who you are between page loads, keep you signed in, and remember your visual preferences without requiring you to log in every time.

2. Specific Use Cases

We categorize our use of storage into three primary protocols:

Authentication & Security (Essential)

We use cookies provided by Firebase (Google) to manage your login session. These are strictly necessary to access your profile, draft articles, and use the Admin Suite. Without these, you would need to log in on every single page load.

Accessibility Preferences (Functional)

We use Local Storage to remember your High Contrast, Dyslexic Font, and Large Text settings. This data never leaves your browser and exists solely to ensure the platform remains readable for your specific needs.

Payment & Fraud Prevention (Essential)

Our payment partner, Stripe, utilizes cookies to process tips and subscriptions. These cookies are essential for verifying that a payment is authorized and for detecting potential fraudulent activity during the checkout process.

3. Control & Deletion

Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies through their settings menu. However, if you choose to disable all cookies, SlyyFoxx Media will not function correctly: you will be unable to sign in, publish deep-dives, or receive tips.

To reset your visual preferences (like High Contrast), you can simply toggle them off in the Accessibility Center, which will update your browser's local storage automatically.

4. Adult Platform Protocol

SlyyFoxx Media is an adult-only platform. We do not use cookies or tracking technologies to interact with individuals under the age of 18. As stated in our Terms, all users must be at least **18 years old** to access the Platform. Any data found to be associated with an individual under this age will be purged immediately.
